Valais V-Ewe Persephone

DOB:  April 27, 2026

Dam:  Cornerstone Kiss Me Kate

Sire:  Cornerstone Monty

Pedigree:  View pedigree on CLRC website.

Persephone is a registered full blood Valais Blacknose ewe lamb...in theory.  In practice, she's a blur! This little spitfire has two speeds:  airborne and "about to be".  Getting a proper photo of her is less "photoshoot" and more "wildlife documentary".  Persephone is BY FAR the most energetic lamb we have had to date.  Persephone will be available up on weaning.  Click on her picture to see more pictures of Persephone!

Valais V-Ewe Philliam Dun Sheep

DOB:  June 10, 2026

Dam:  Cornerstone Lucy

Sire:  Cornerstone Kong

Pedigree:  View pedigree on CLRC website.

Phil is a registered full blood Valais Blacknose ram lamb.  From the moment he was born, there was just SOMETHING about Phil. Even though he is missing his front left knee patch, his structure and size make this guy stand out.  Unfortunately Phil ended up with a broken bone in his right rear leg, but he is now on the mend.  We won't sell him until he is completely healed...and maybe not even then.  He's just got that something about him that makes us want to see how he grows.  And yes, he IS named after Phil Dunphy from Modern Family :)

Valais V-Ewe Popcorn

DOB:  May 8, 2026

Dam:  Valais V-Ewe Lily (F3 VBN ewe)

Sire:  Cornerstone Monty

Pedigree:  View pedigree on CLRC website.

Popcorn is an adorable F4 Valais Blacknose ewe lamb who is twin sister to Pickles.  This makes her a domestic purebred here in Canada! All the looks and puppy dog personality at half the price! While most VBNs politely keep their markings where they belong, Popcorn decided the rules were more of a "suggestion".  Part of her front left knee patch appears to have slide all the way down to her ankle, proving she prefers to put her own creative spin on traditional VBN markings.  Stay tuned for better a better picture of Popcorn!

Valais V-Ewe Puddles

DOB:  June 10, 2026

Dam:  Valais V-Ewe Jelly Bean (F2 VBN ewe)

Sire:  Cornerstone Monty

Puddles is an adorable F3 Valais Blacknose wether lamb who decided to skip lambing season and waited for "disaster season".  Arriving by emergency c-section while our community was dealing with severe flooding and a state of emergency, he earned his name before he even took his first steps.  Puddles is extremely friendly, as he is being supplemented with bottles while mama Jelly Bean recovers from her c-section.  She is feeding him, but her milk supply isn't quite where it should be.
