What started out as a small family "funny farm" in Swan River, Manitoba Canada with horses, mini donkeys, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats morphed into an interest in having a few less common animals (KuneKune pigs, highland "coos" {cows}).  We have since sold our highland cows, however, since we had to change our fencing for the sheep.

We came across Valais Blacknose sheep, "the cutest sheep" in the world, and instantly knew we needed ONE for our farm.  We had no idea that they weren't yet (at the time) available in Canada...so we enjoyed them from afar.

In the fall of 2023 we got ourselves on a waiting list for an F3 (87.5%) lamb.

Two months later we were then offered a small flock of three F2 ewes, two F3 ewe lambs, and a full blood ram, so we figured "why not? Could be a fun LITTLE side business".

In true Gelsinger fashion, that morphed into purchasing a much larger full blood flock - five VBN rams, five VBN ewes and two recipient Dorper ewes.

Current News

Our first seven lambs of 2026 are on the ground! So far we have:

     * one F1 ram lamb (will be wethered) who is already sold!
     * one full blood ewe lamb who came out LOVING people :)
     * twin full blood ram lambs 
     * two F4 (which are domestic purebreds in Canada!!) ewe lambs
     * one F4 ram lamb (will be wethered) who is sold!
